Internet Networking with Social Groups April 16, 2008 WordPress.com I am really amazed that there is so much information on internet networking with social groups. While MySpace and YouTube have captured a fair amount of press and exposure, there are a multitude of groups available just about for any purpose. When you are starting a new business, as I have stated, it is imperative that you garner the most free information as possible before opening your wallet. There are just too many opportunities for information without spending a dime. The biggest problem is that the amount of information is sometimes over whelming and that it takes a considerable amount of time to digest and look at all that is to be offered. When you enter a majority of sites, there are normally 2 things that happen. The first is that a video starts up that has an ear deafening sound that you immediately close the window; and the second one is a bunch a capture pages are exposed, offering your the chance of a lifetime if you will just sign up with your email. To me this is really annoying. If the web designer had one ounce of sense they would not provide an explosion of screens to the person trying to get some information. The appearance of screen design is no different that shopping for furniture and everything is in black or purple. There has to be a compromise in the design. In getting back to the subject, I have stumbled onto 3 sites, out of many, that have something to offer and say about networking. In most cases we have a real JOB and are just trying to make ends meet with that JOB. We are searching for that little incentive to make a few bucks, or a car payment, provide for college, pay down debt. With internet networking, you have a FREE opportunity to communicate with people who are in various fields that are willing to lay it out for you. Primarily this means that they are already in a business and can tell you the good side or bad side of various endeavors that they have been in. Not everyone has already established a business, or they have failed in one effort and are looking for another opportunity. The first one that I ran across is DirectMatches.com. This web site allows you to pick the area(s) that you are interested in. I have seen motorcycle groups, professional groups, lawyers, real estate people, pets/animals, etc. I am very intrigued by this site.as it offers a lot of free stuff without ever spending any money. This also includes free classified ads. This is a world-wide site and you can see through the pull-downs the various countries that are into the system. You can also develop contact lists with people of your same business. If you go to the site, you will see a lot of tabs, look at all of them. The site shows 4 levels, free, customer, manager, and executive, from free to $29.95 a month. A compensation plan is explained on the site. I signed up for the free one at www.directmatches.com/prepare2earn. Please fell free to look at this and signup for some free stuff. By the way, the photo is from my passport and not the post office. The next one I looked at was a new one called Wowzza. This is a new site that was brought online at the end of March 2008. This site is a social network designed for Network Marketers, Business Opportunity Seekers and Network Marketers. Wowzza is run by Network Marketing Veteran Jim Vigilante and it is experiencing phenomenal growth in just it’s first week. The site states that over 15,000 people joined in just the first 18 hours. The compensation plan is a 3×9 Forced Matrix. It states that you can earn over $80,000 per month with a full matrix. But you’ll also be cost covered with just 12 people in your matrix. And with the $15 Fast Start Bonus.. sponsor just 2 people a month and you’re almost covered. This site does not show a free category so you better do your homework. I did not join this one, but I took the tour and it looks interesting. There is a lot of stuff on the internet that is negative about this site. But it is only less than one month old. Another site was called AdLandPro. This site shows that it is a community site of like minded people who have an interest in developing their business and finding contacts to help them or use as potential business partners. It is a lot like the DirectMatches site. I also signed up (free) for this one to get the information to write about. All in all there are a lot more. You should define your search criteria to extrapolate the maximum amount of information that you are looking for. Keep in mind that with FREE you are in control to receive the most benefit without spending your money until you are ready. Are Network Social Groups Coming Of Age? April 15, 2008 http://www.free-press-release.com/news/200804/1208288264.html Today DirectMatches, Wowzza, Adlandpro, and many more are trying to gather network business partners through aggressive advertising on the web. United States of America (Press Release) April 15, 2008 -- In doing some research this week for my web site, www.prepare-2-earn.com, I had received some emails in my SPAM box. Now everyone has one but many people do not look at the information contained in this folder, because if your email provider decides it is SPAM, then it must be. As a person always willing to go the extra mile and look at some of this stuff, I find it interesting how much stuff can be generated by various people over the same subject at the same time. It is like clock work. But as a serious network marketer I am more intrigued by social network marketing. There are a host of social groups that entertain business people. While a lot of exposure is given to MySpace and YouTube, these are predominately used by the younger unemployed sect. The DirectMatches, Wowzza and Adlandpro were the 3 that I looked at this week. I even joined the DirectMatches, as a free member, because it looked more appealing that the others. Adlandpro has a free membership, but I did not see one for Wowzza, which is less than one month old. The emphasis of these groups is to solicit like minded individuals for exchanging business ideas as well as promote their wares. The DirectMatches is world-wide and I was amazed at the number of people in some of the most foreign parts of the world who were members. If you are struggling in a business or feel the need to have more personal information by people who are in the business, look at these and other sites to help improve your business. What Type of Business Will I Have? April 11, 2008 WordPress.com We are now getting some good information and feel that we have made some progress on our due diligence for a new business. We are continuing our path to finding out if we can make a go at a new business. Here are 7 tips for business planning. - Clearly define your business idea and be able to succinctly articulate it. Know your mission.
- Examine your motives. Make sure that you have a passion for owning and operating a business and for this particular business.
- Be willing to commit to the hours, discipline, continuous learning and the frustrations of owning your own business.
- Conduct a competitive analysis in your market area, including products, prices, promotions, advertising, distribution, quality, service, and be aware of the outside influences that affect your business.
- Seek help from other small businesses, vendors, professionals, government agencies, employees, trade associations and trade shows. Be alert and ask questions.
- For a home based business, attend training classes to ensure that you get the right format for starting out in this new opportunity.
- Do not get your friends and family involved before you have created a business plan for what you want to do. At this point, cold water may dilute your dream business.
We are still on the path, but more information needs to be garnered in order for us to see if there are opportunities to be had. There is a tremendous amount of free information that various web sites have available. Be cautious though of spending any money at this point. Get the facts straight before making that investment. Until next time..... Bob Griffin Click For Free Information on Social Networking Look at My Web Site Click Here For Free Information
Why You Should Try A Home Based Business! April 7, 2008 http://www.free-press-http://www.free-press-release.com/news/200804/1207597519.html The Internet today has provided a better way to work a home based business. It reaches more people and provides faster responses, without the use of a telephone. United States of America (Press Release) April 7, 2008 -- If you have any interest in Home-Based Opportunities, one cannot help but to feel over whelmed with the amount of information that is available when an internet search is made. You may have even received information in the mail for various offers. Each of these should be carefully analyzed to ensure that the offer fits your passion. From a business perspective, Due Diligence is a term used for a number of concepts involving either the performance of an investigation of a business or person, or the performance of an act with a certain standard of care. It can be a legal obligation, but the term will more commonly apply to voluntary investigations. A common example of due diligence in various industries includes: The process through which a potential acquirer evaluates a target company or its assets for acquisition. What does this mean? It means that if you are to make a commitment to enlist or purchase a product or service, then you should do your homework. When performing your due diligence, you also have to keep in mind your interest or passion for the product or service. Passion is determined by your likes and dislikes of a product. You have to keep in mind that if and when you make the decision to promote or become a seller of a product or service, the buyer is going to want to know your knowledge of the product or service and your usage of it. Keep in mind: Information is Power. Bob Griffin

Is a Home Based Business Right For You? April 6, 2008 WordPress.com There are many considerations to follow if you really have the desire to exceed in a home based business. While there are many stories about the successes of home based business there are probably 10 times that many about the failures. In a lot of cases the failures are merely the person getting excited about the business but receive very little support to progress the business. In some other cases the person may not know how to run a business. I was searching for some material for another project and ran across some information that could provide some incite to this question. The information come from SCORE, Service Corps of Retired Executives. Here is what the article says: Starting a Home-based Business—Is It Right for You? Hundreds of thousands of individuals decide to start a home-based business each year. Many succeed. About 70 percent of all home based businesses are in operation after two years. Before entering this venture, entrepreneurs should consider several key questions: - Can you operate the business alone with little help?
- Do you have contact with buyers or your services?
- Is the location such that distributors, sales staff, clients and others can reach it without difficulty?
- Is start-up and operations capital available for the first year?
- Can the business really be operated from the home?
- Do you have separate spaces for storage, records, isolation, parking, etc.?
- Can a business in the home compete with similar businesses?
As in most businesses, there are advantages and disadvantages to the home-based business. A business in the home permits flexibility of working hours, lower start-up costs and allows family affairs to continue during business hours. There are also disadvantages—zoning restrictions may prohibit business, the IRS may raise tax questions, it may be difficult to get materials and customers to the location and financing the business could be challenging. The IRS specifies that a home-based business must have its own location away from the family living space that is devoted exclusively to the business. The business must be in regular operation, profits must exceed expenses in order to claim deductions, the business must be conducted almost exclusively in the home and the motive must be profit. A major challenge in operating a home-based business is isolation from distributors, merchants, clients and interested parties. Modern communications help to alleviate the problem—a computer is a necessity. A fax machine and Internet access are almost certainly necessary for communications within the business community. In addition, separate telephone phone lines must be installed for telephone, fax and Internet access and the business phone needs some type of answering service. In summary, the business must be run as a business not as an extension of the home. It is essential that the prospective business owner have a good business and financial plan, separate from the family finances, that clearly spells out the present and future of the business. (http://www.score.org/bp_11.html) While this information is a starting point, it should be understood that when you operate a business there are financial implications that will impact the business. There are also a multitude of deductions that can be taken that are not available for an individual status. Our quest for answers continues as we gather more information about a home based business opportunity.
Network Marketing Is Not For Slackers April 5, 2008 WordPress.com As we move forward, I would like to explain that if your wish is to possess a lot of money, there are basically 3 ways to get it. The first way would be to inherit it, the second way would be win the lottery, and the third way would be to earn it. If we are fortunate enough to have the first option, then this is probably not for you, unless you want to have some time to invest in besides spending your money. I do not know where you live, but in Florida to win the lottery is at the odds of 18,000,000:1. Those are really not good odds. But I continue to pluck my dollar down each week for the opportunity. Now we are at the third option, earn it. There are several ways to do this. One is the work a job for 46 years, 20 until 66; another is to invest everything you can, like 401K or other sponsored savings; or if those 2 items cannot be achieved, is to search for alternative income sources. This could be a part-time job for you, making your significant other get a job, etc. If you were to get a part-time job, then you might work evenings and weekends for anywhere between 15-30 hours a week, or maybe less. When you count up how much you have saved, then a small light should appear. If you were to make $8-$10 an hour, then you should have roughly $120-$300, excluding taxes and other deductions, travel and car expense (have you checked the cost of gasoline lately?), your time (you should be worth at least $15-$30/hour). What is the bottom line? Most likely it may be a wash. With Network Marketing, there is a possibility of using that same time to spend at home with no travel or car expense, no evenings away from your family, or giving up your weekends for that JOB. The majority of Network Marketing businesses are designed for the individual to work as much or as little as you want. You know the expression, WYSIWYG? That also applies to the bottom line of your new business. What you put into the business is a direct result of the checks you will receive each month. Think of a plumber, what if he did not want to work a couple days each week. Do you think he would have a reduced paycheck? Of course, he would unless he was the owner’s son. Then he would probably be on a salary and it did not matter how many hours he worked. Not all of us are that fortunate, what I mean to say is that the opportunity for income is only as far as you want to take it. You are the boss. When you get to a situation where you have expanded your relationship with business partners, then when you take a vacation the checks still keep coming. How good would that be? But if you do not have the time or the fortitude to make the right decision, then Network Marketing is not for you. You cannot be a slacker and work this type of business. In fact if you are a slacker and have a regular job, then you better try to keep it. When time permits, go to the web, like Google, and do a search for ”home-based business” and you will find approximately 817,000 opportunities. That is a lot to look at. I have a website that can provide you with some FREE information concerning home-based businesses. If you continue to follow my new blog, I will share some of my adventures with you and help you through the process. But not through the 817,000 websites. Until next time, for those traveling through the experience
Hello world! March 8, 2008 WordPress.com Hello, my name is Bob Griffin and this is my first adventure into writing a blog. I am excited to be able to relay some of my experiences to you on the ins and outs of Network Marketing. While there is probably a marking format for about every wish or passion, it is clear that they are not all alike. I have been in the business for about 8 years and through this medium will try to strengthen some of your trust in that there are some very good programs out there. The term “Network Marketing” is not a scam. Here are a list of the categories for people and Network Marketing: - Plenty of people work it and use it for their only source of income and receive a good life style (You know them by standing in front of their cars and mansions.
- Others that use it part-time in order to provide additional income and enjoy some level of success.
- There are many people that are in a program, paying money and receiving little benefit from the program.
- There are a lot of people who were in the business but are currently not, because they have become disenfranchised and feel that they get took on the benefits of a program.
- The next group are the tire kickers who have searched endlessly for that RIGHT opportunity to make a fortune. These have never gotten their feet wet but continue to search.
- The last group are those that never have been in a program, probably never will, mainly because of friends or family that have gone under trying to make something work that never did. This bad taste of someone provides incentives to never try it themselves.
In the future, as we progress through the maze of misinformation and opportunities, I hope that you will feel free to comment on your experiences. I was in Excel for many years before they went bankrupt. I never made a fortune like some in the business, but I also did not commit a lot of time, due to other circumstances. I am currently with Nussentials and they provide innovative health products that are all-natural for all aspects of daily life. I like to think of Network Marketing as like building a house. When the foundation is poured, you are full of fire, knowing that you are breaking ground on a new endeavor. When the walls go up, you really start to visualize what is going to happen as long as you keep building that house. Along the way you may have some unexpected problems or expenses and the house becomes an afterthought even though you know what the opportunity will be for your family to have it completed. The house project becomes stagnant. Your family life becomes strained. But you continue down the path to provide for your family but the house project is becoming a wasted investment. If only you could get enough money to complete that house. Then you decide to ask friends and family for additional input into the project trying to salvage the house. After a while you feel dejected and alone because you poured your heart into that project and it never became that dream as envisioned. Your friends and family were not interested in the house because they would have no benefit to its completion. This scenario has probably rang out more than once. Travel with me as we work together to perform some due diligence about what your passion is for you or your family. In developing your due diligence, I have many free reports and information that can be accessed through online requests. Just maybe you can find what you are looking for. Remember the motto: Information is Power. Until next time
